About the space

Our beautifully rustic third floor event space is ready to host your next wedding rehearsal, reception, birthday, baby shower, engagement, anniversary, corporate, or networking event.

Our venue is designed to accommodate up to 70 seated guests or up to 100 guests cocktail style and offers a unique blend of preset and customizable menu options to make your event truly memorable.

  • Ambiance & Design - This space features a beautifully designed interior that combines natural materials such as reclaimed wood, exposed brick, and wrought iron accents. The warm color palette and cozy lighting creates an inviting and intimate atmosphere.

  • Spacious Layout - The dining area is thoughtfully arranged to ensure comfort and connectivity amongst guests. Our space is flexible and can be configured to suit various event types.

  • Decor & Styling - Personalize the space to fit your vision.

  • Audio & Visual Equipment - Equipped with audio and visual technology for presentations, speeches, or entertainment needs.

Reservation Policy

We require a signed contract and deposit to hold the room. Please contact Bekka Mitchell at bekka@gallagherswaterloo.com for more information. Deposit amounts are $500 for events Monday through Thursday, and $1000 for events Friday-Sunday. The remaining balance is due during your event. Your deposit secures your 3 hour reservation on the day of your choice. See our cancellation policy for more information.

Room Fees

Monday through Thursday we require a $1,250 minimum. Friday through Sunday the minimum is $2,000.

Decorations Policy

We allow table decoration only. Confetti or other decorations that need to be suspended from the ceiling or attached to walls are NOT permitted. If you were to have centerpieces or table decorations that you’d like us to put out, we’re happy to! Please provide them to staff at least 2 hours in advance. Likewise we will allow you and no more than five guests to decorate prior to the event. Decorations need to be removed by the end of your event - unless discussed with the event coordinator.

Gratuity

An 18% gratuity will be added to your bill.

Dining Experience

  • Composed / Signature Options - Our preset menu offers a selection of delectable dishes crafted from carefully sourced ingredients. Choose from elegant options like - Prime NY Strip, Grand Marnier Salmon, Chicken Modiga and more.

  • Family Style / Buffet Options - With different options ranging from our famous fried chicken with homestyle sides, cocktail style happy hour bites, to an elevated tea time. We have something for everyone.

  • Desserts - We have a collection of desserts available. If you would like to bring your own dessert, we charge a $2/per person cake cutting fee.

Cancellation Policy

Here at Gallagher’s, we understand that plans can change, and we strive to be flexible and accommodating. However, to ensure fair and efficient management of our event space, we have established the following cancellation policy:

  • Cancellation More Than 30 Days Prior to the Event - Full Refund: If you cancel your event more than 30 days before the scheduled date, you will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.

  • Cancellation Within 30 Days but More Than 48 Hours Prior to the Event - Partial Refund: If you cancel your event within 30 days of the scheduled date but more than 48 hours before the event, you will forfeit 50% of the deposit paid. The remaining deposit will be refunded.

  • Cancellation Less Than 48 Hours Prior to the Event - No Refund: If you cancel your event less than 48 hours before the scheduled date, the entire deposit will be forfeited, and no refund will be provided.

CANCELLATION NOTIFICATION REQUIREMENT

All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email or official correspondence to bekka@gallagherswaterloo.com. Verbal cancellations are not considered valid.
